Dear Parents,

 

Welcome back to the Mollenhauer Music Studio.  This year there are a few changes you need to be aware of.  

Yearly registration payments are due now. $25 registration covers notebooks, copies, technology, recitals, etc.)

 

This year there are 18  lessons scheduled for each Fall and Spring. I am charging $28 per lesson, but only charging you for 17 lessons for each semester.  What this means for you:  You may have a FREE lesson built in!  Here is how tuition will be billed:

30 minute private lessons:

17 lessons X $28  a lesson= $476/semester

60 minute rotating lessons 

17 lessins x $30 a lesson = $510/semester 

 

There are 2 choices in how to pay, by semester or by month:

 

Tuition by SEMESTER with a 3% reduction for $461.72 or $494.70, if Paid in full by August 4th. 

OR 

5 monthly payments will be $95.20 or $102 a month (Due before the 5th of each month)

Payments will be accepted through Cash, Zelle or Venmo ONLY!

LATE FEES:  If I do not receive payment by the 5th of the month (OR FIRST LESSON), please apply a $10 late fee.  Lessons will not be given if tuition is not paid. 

**Please bring all books & materials to your lesson** I DO NOT HAVE EXTRA!  

 

Practice expectations: Students are expected to practice 30-45 minutes a day, 5-6 days of the week . If your student is not practicing regularly, you may be asked to leave the studio.  

 

Parent Expectations: 

-Parents are expected to sit and help children practice daily, until the student is around level 3.  Parents should then check in twice a week to make sure all materials are covered during practice sessions.  

-If you start lessons in the Fall you are committing to the full year.  

-THERE ARE NO MAKE UP LESSONS. (If you are sick, don’t worry, you have 2 extra lessons in the year to cover such an event.)

-I do not give refunds.  

 

Master Class: 

I offer Master Classes to teach things that we don’t have time to cover in individual lessons.  Master Classes are once a quarter, dates are on calendar.  These are not optional lessons, but rather a fun and different way of learning crucial music and performance information.

 

I LOVE my students and I LOVE teaching them.  This year I will be managing a studio with about 50 students.  I would love your help and support!
