Ms. Emali Mollenhauer

I have been teaching music in one form or another for the past 22 years.  I grew up in Mesa, AZ. Music has always been a common theme in my life.  I started playing the piano at age 8 and have sung in various church, community and professional choirs.  I have a Bachelor’s Degree from Northern Arizona University in Music Education with a choral/vocal emphasis.  I did my student teaching at Dobson High School in Mesa, taught General Music and Choir at an elementary school in Scottsdale and then moved to Junior High Choir in Mesa.  After starting a family, I moved my focus to private teaching in my home for piano and voice.  I noticed that many of my best and most advance students came from Let’s Play Music programs and knew there was something special about it.  And so, with my family of six kids fairly buttoned down (if thats even possible), I decided to fully step into the LPM world and begin teaching those wonderful students myself.  I am excited about music and creating musicians and would love for you to come see how FUN music can be!

I would love to chat with you about your child and their music goals to see what program and curriculum would best suit your family needs.

See the Studio:

My home studio is located off Recker and Guadalupe in Gilbert, AZ

It includes an active area & listening area.

Movement between the two areas engages & resets the child's mind while they learn. In the active area we do activities that involve more full body movement and play. The listening area provides a place were children can easily focus on new information presented (for example playing tone bells, pianos, singing, & echo games to develop pitch and tone). In Let's Play Music for 4-6 year olds (year 2 & 3) the listening area includes pianos.
